I graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology and sociology at the University of Bayreuth. After that I did my master’s degree at the Georg August University of Göttingen. Since 2019 I’m doing my doctoral studies at the Department of Anthropology and African Studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University. My scientific interests are globalization, land use and land conflicts as well as the sensory perception of the environment and the American conservatism. With my thesis “Not so rosy: neighborhood and resource conflicts in Naivasha, Kenya” I graduated in 2018 with a master’s degree with distinction in cultural anthropology. Besides my scientific work, I’m a passionate wildlife photographer who specialize in birds.
